Deliverable 2.1.1 (March 2025): Installation, testing and monitoring measurements of the ionospheric Continuous Doppler Sounding System (CDSS) in Slovakia and Belgium.
Standard three-measuring-path monitoring CDDS systems were installed in Belgium and Slovakia. They were tested and validated. Currently routine continuous monitoring of the state of the ionosphere is run with focus on gravity waves/traveling ionospheric disturbances (TIDs) of shorter periods. After primary evaluation, data are stored as Doppler spectrograms on data server of the Institute. They are available through http://datacenter.ufa.cas.cz/ under “Spectrogram archive”.
